As you can see the new forum is up and running and looking good. There will be teething problems and tweaks done in the coming months but that's fine. We did get about 95% of the old posts back but we had to go through three back-up files to get one that wasn't corrupt. The majority of usernames are across and should be useable although we could not get the passwords across with them. So when visiting this new forum just follow the links as though you have forgotten your password and it will reset it and allow you change it back to your preference. Thanks Taf1938

Well done Alex and Andy!!!! Such a shame you've been put to so much time and trouble due to Spam Bots. But let's hope you're outwith their reach now and the message board can get on with what it was doing so well.
This is really great! Ave to you:-) I am a member of a norwegian forum which were attacked by spam last year (www.karma-world.com). The admin had to make an adjustment and ban certain domains from entering the website, like Russia, Tyrkia and other countrys known for spammers. A drawback with doing this, is that evt. members from such domains are not able to access the website.
Hello Everyone,Just to echo Jane's comments, Well Done & thank You. I have just returned from Mull. Wild , Wet , Windy & Beautiful, walked around Ulva on a lovely sunny-ish day. Best Regards Swagman
