hello all i am a living in the USA right now i plan on coming out and visiting Scotland johnstone seeing as my last name is Johnston i think my heritage is Scottish any way i was wondering about a few things .first how long can a person camp in one spot i am looking in to the possibility of living this way maby even growing some potato's if i can but i don't know what the rules and laws are because i live in America so.... i would like to know what they are. i hope Scotland is better that America if i could i would even work on a farm if some one would let me. one of my other questions is what are the people like in Scotland i only know American rich selfish people i was raised here my whole life i want nothing to do with American any more. what the process of be coming a citizen of Scotland?

Scottish people are much the same as folk anywhere.But on the whole they are pretty warm and welcoming.
